Surges along Chile’s coastlines

The Chilean Navy has issued a tidal wave alert for the country’s coasts, effective from Tuesday, April 2nd to Saturday, April 6th.

It will cover from the Arauco Gulf to Arica, including the Juan Fernández Archipelago.

It is important to exercise caution as tidal waves can lead to port closures, affect coastal roads, damage properties, and even result in fatal losses.
